Philippine Belt Manufacturing Corporation was established in 1971 to provide locally-manufactured rubber beltings. It was the first industrial belting company in the Philippines and is now considered as one of the largest producers of rubber belts in Southeast Asia. Philbelt manufactures v-belts, fan belts, flat transmission belts and conveyor belts using Japanese Technology. It forged a licensing agreement with Bando Chemical Industries, Ltd. of Japan for the manufacture of v-belts and conveyor belts. As a result of this partnership, technology and facilities were upgraded. All Philbelt staff and employees were instilled with the awareness of quality and service to meet its clients' standard of excellence. This foresight was rewarded with solid relationships worldwide as it started to export in 1986 to the U.S.A. and the major countries in Asia. From 1986 to present, a dramatic increase in Philbelt exports has been noted ever since it pursued an export-oriented marketing program.HistoryThrough the years, Philbelt has maintained the quality and reliability of its products.
