My time at PAGSS helped me develop practical ground operations abilities and professional viewpoint.
The good thingsDuring my time with Philippine Airport Ground Support Solutions, Inc (PAGSS), I gained initial experience of airport ground handling and support operations. I learned how different departments work together to provide safe, efficient, and on-time aircraft operations. My experience taught me the value of collaboration, discipline, and following safety regulations in an airport working environment. I was able to see and participate in responsibilities involving passenger services, ground operations, and documentation, which improved my communication and attention to detail. Overall, my time at PAGSS allowed me to apply what I learned in a practical situation, developing professionalism, dedication, and confidence in the aviation business.
The challengesStaying at PAGSS may give useful aviation experience and skill development. However, enhancing compensation, staffing, scheduling and support systems would make it easier and more satisfying for employees.

A mismanage company that use to be great.
The good thingsThe comradery is the only thing I can think of and the health insurance
The challengesThe work load is not justifiable for the salary you get, not even a single dime on hazard pay despite the risk as operators face everyday. The company accepts contracts despite having low of man power biting more than the company could chew leading to a very avoidable mistakes that would cause the company a lot of money to pay and blames the operator on said mistakes because of the companies oversight of lack man power. Equipment breakdowns are a common sight mechanics struggle to replace parts because there's no replacement parts leading to cannibalizing other units leading to other units to be broken down permanently gathering dust and rusting away. Operators have to make do with faulty equipment's on the daily basis because surprise the company is also lacking on that department as well, Operators had to risk their license for using said equipment because if they don't theirs n other equipment to use despite all this the company lend this equipment to other company.

The company/agency is not that employee friendly.
The good thingsA good starter experience for fresh graduates that wanted to pursue and work in airline/aviation/airport industry.
The challengesI enjoyed the experience that I had in the airline where I was deployed but not with Phillipine Airport Ground support solutions Inc. (Agency) I'm still thankful to PAGGS, the salary is minimum, we work for 9-10hrs per day but working with the airline gave us excitement.

    Positive career growth, unreasonable salary
The good thingsIt is a challenging environment that allows you to maximize and improve your skills, and discover the rest of your potentials. It trains the employees well on analyzing different travel documents, and it also provides a great exposure to get to know and learn from a wide range of cultural backgrounds.
The challengesIt is an exhausting environment especially if you are not flexible. You need to work for more than 8 hours everyday, and sometimes, for almost 24 hours. Flight disruptions cause employees to extend their working hours, but the company does not compensate well for these efforts.

The good thingsyou will meet different kind of people different walk of life, good exposure to different kind of situation on how you handle them and especially in operation on how you must complete them in a timely manner

    GREAT EXPERIENCE
The good thingsI enjoy having new friends, building new relationship. Having new friends, new learnings not just from my seniors but also from my passengers. You learn to let go and accept challenges. We do have medical benefits, bonus and the like. Every new year we get memorabilia from the agency. It's fun when you stick with the right friends cool supervisor.
The challengesWorking in operation is tiring, you need to adjust a lot with your schedule. Since we are under agency, we don't have travel benefits. It's hard to request for a vacation leave because it's always under staff and it depends on the schedule maker.

Great experience especially to those who had tourism course. But very low salary, and long duty hours.
The good thingsGood things about being lounge agent to a first class and business class airport lounge is that, I learned a lot and i can be able to interact with different nationalities and cultures.
The challengesThe challenges are dealing with rude passengers especially when their flight was delayed or when they are insisting to enter the lounge even if they are not flying with business class or not legible to enter the lounge.
