Overall great experience but could be better only if the Executives know where the real issue is.
The good thingsGreat salary package and benefits Awesome work environment Cool colleagues and managers Broad IT infra to work with and learn from
The challengesSeniors from onshore are not ready to share work globally Undergoing lots of changes and cost cutting due to fast phased A&Ms that are affecting jobs across all line of business Executives maybe losing touch of people management in the lowest level

Bad. worst in micromanaging. not stable, you can be out without further notice.
The good thingsYou can get the most experience you need
The challengesTeams are super competitive even competing among themselves, to the point of micro managing lower ranked teamates.

It seems good at the beginning, but you eventually realize how unfair the environment is.
The good thingsmy teammates, probably because we all suffer together
The challengesSalary: New hires often receive higher salaries compared to long-tenured employees. Unfortunately, salary adjustments for existing staff do not keep pace with inflation, resulting in pay disparity and reduced employee morale. Work-Life Balance: Despite being promoted as a value, work-life balance is neither prioritized nor genuinely felt by employees. Management: Workplace politics and outdated leadership styles are prevalent. Some members of management display dismissive and gaslighting behaviors. They enjoy extensive benefits, which may explain their lack of empathy and concern for the well-being of their teams.

Made me wait 45 mins for the final interview, cancelled it without explanation, wants me to go onsite for it a week later with an offer that same day, passed both of it but did not givw an offer, gave me a verbal offer with a start date but no written, after 4 months they are asking if I'm still available, ridiculous level of unprofessionalism from Opentext. Might be the worst I've ever experience in 6 years.
The good thingsGood Salary package, will be working on oudated system so that should be expected
The challengesThey seem to have trouble with the management approvals

This is not the best place to work
The good thingsBenefits and salary. Employee relatiinships - except managers
The challengesManagement. They need to address employee escalations more than just giving and creating company activities. Band aid solutions are temporary.

Stayed longer than what I've expected because of our team's camaraderie and support to each other. Benefits is good as well.
The good thingsGreat Team! Stayed more than a 1 decade. Respected and Appreciated by the "previous" Management.
The challengesCurrent Management has its own agenda! Management is not familiar with the right process and tools being used by their peers. Not much support since they're only focus on engagements that will make them look very good. Don't expect any growth and opportunity - its a shame for a big and well known IT company.

Best Place to Work... and I would love to come back.
The good thingsPeople are nice. Especially the management, at least in our organization. They treat you like family. Everyone is engaging.
The challengesSalary before was low. So travelling from work to home 3x a week was challenging financially. Would love to be in the office though as it engages employees more.

The good thingsWork Independently Sports Feast Team Building Team Christmas Party Canteen Commissary
The challengesconcerns are not heard, they take it personally when concerns are raised from supervisory level to management up to CEO Decisions they make are base on their personal preferences and employee left in hanging for they do not communicate well with employee and employee are less appreciated, no room fro growth or improvement

The good thingsNight diff, bonuses, friendly colleagues and bosses.

    Pay isn't worth the stress
The good thingsI would think benefits are the only highlight of working here
The challengesPay is very low for the amount of work-effort needed by the company. My current role used to be 4 individual positions but is now merged into one for the pay of a single role.

Great Opportunity for Fresh Graduates but not for long term growth
The good thingsIf you are a fresh graduate this is a good start. The work experience will help you develop your skills and become better in your field. The salary and bonuses is also competitive.
The challengesThe workload metrics are unbearable to others. The management continues to implement service improvement to help efficient delivery to clients without consulting the resources if they are doable, and that's where the stress builds up. But like I said these experiences develops your skills and once you get out of this company and look for another, you'll definitely stand out among the rest.

Prepare to be stuck with EDI technology
The good things- Good salary and benefits. - Friendly colleagues.
The challenges- Permanent night shift - High risk of burnout due to very strict deadlines. - Managers are micro-managing. - Trainings are not newbie friendly. - Your experience in this company is not valuable on outside industries, prepare to be stuck. - Very high expectations from the management, not rest allowed.

    High risk of burnout
The good thingsPeople are friendly. High salary for fresh grads
The challengesWorst Bootcamp, doesn't really teaches, discusses important work details in just a day but other not important details are discussed in 2-3 days. Managers are micromanaging which is a lot of pressure for new hires. WFH situation at the moment is a big con for new hires Mentoring new hires is a joke. No one really bothers to check on you even though you are a new hire They expect you to do 4 jobs at once (Analyst, Mappr, QA, Integrator) which is very exhausting No resting allowed, a moment of no job will be questioned by manager even though there isn't any in the queue No career growth outside EDI mapping. EDI mapping isn't that used outside so good luck finding new jobs because your experience in opentext is almost obsolete outside WFH setup just doesn't work. Be prepared to work overtime almost everyday. SLA and metrics are super strict and is easily the source of stress

If you love money, you are perfect for this company
The good things- Benefits (very good HMO can be extended to parents and siblings) - Money (Bonuses and night diff) - Environment (team members are friendly and helpful) - Work life balance
The challenges- Career will be limited to EDI only - Challenging and demanding work, management will expect that you will know everything after your training - Stress in dealing with the customers - Strict metrics and SLA - You are not allowed to relax even if there are no tasks since the manager will question your everyday productivity. - Permanent night shift - Very minimal training materials for EDI projects

Still has its pros and cons.
The good thingsGood benefits Employee Engagement Activities are also fun Company spends well for their employees Exposure to working with other employees based abroad High pay depending on the department 14th month pay Vacation Leaves increase based on tenure
The challengesSome tenured employees are not that much open to change, "homegrown mentality" - thinking that they should get better opportunities since they have been in the company for some time.

    WORST place to work!
The good thingsThe only good thing here is that I decided to leave after 2 years.
The challengesThe whole company needs improvement. Worst management team I've ever been. A lot of toxic people and they just go to work to gossip. They don't even have a leadership training or program before hiring or promoting Managers. I will never recommend this company to anyone at all. Ever.
