My life is like walking on a hanging bridge.
The good thingsWith my work, it's remote and sometimes on-site. But it's okay since no pressure and save for transportation expenses.
The challengesDoesn't know of you can stay long or not. And NO chance if being absorbed as an employee for contractual. And no notice if other teams have holidays or no work.. mostly from other countries.

    Interesting Avenue for development
The good thingsWe owned the code so we had a lot of control over it. We were always pushed to think of solutions to improve the code.
The challengesWorking in a competitive industry with colleagues coming from other countries sometimes meant that things had to be rushed, or given a temporary solution until the real solution could be implemented at a better-paced time.

    Best company for a family.
The good thingsI've learned many things with this company. Nokia provide the best opportunities nationwide. The company probably has the best benefits in whole Philippines in my own opinion. (e.g. unlimited dependent(my whole family is included)).
The challengesProbably has up and down in management and deliveries but the overall experience and knowledge gain is really worth it.

Work Life Balance, Pro-Employee, Challenging, Opportunities to Learn
The good thingsPro-Employee: - HMO and VL/SL on day 1 - HMO free unlimited dependents - Reimbursable medicines and prescription eyeglasses - Free Coffee - They give opportunity to sponsor your Master's degree and external training and seminars. - Flexible working hours Salary Increase Yearly if you reached your yearly goals. Wide Variety of options to learn something new. Managers were open and very focused on helping on your career growth. Company Activities: Charity and pro-environment activities Year-end party Innovation Day where you can present an innovation idea and can win an award Hackathon and Testathon
The challengesI've been working for 5 years here and I think although there is a yearly increase it is still small compared to other companies.

Great experience to work for an international corporate company, and learn the industry standards and experience quality work.
The good thingsGreat company processes, established way of working, great managers, active company events/lifestyle, great team-mates, brilliant engineers, broad library of knowledge, and great opportunities ahead.
The challengesThe company compensation is not very competitive compare to the employee's tenure. It's a good experience to come in and learn everything you can, and you can probably max your potential on a 2-4 years tenure.

    Enjoyable and many opportunities.
The good thingsGreat workplace. Great benefits. Great management. A lot of opportunities. A lot of avenues for learning development/personal growth. Work/Life balance is great.
The challengesAverage salary. Depending on your team assignment, it can be stressful, since some teams have very high workload. Hard to get overtime pay, since it is discouraged to take OTs. Some teams are focused more on telco, so no matter how good you are in programming languages, if you have a hard time understanding telco, you will have a hard time with work.
