What’s it like working at Nitto Denko?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Nitto Denko appreciate the intensive training provided to new hires, the company's timely responsiveness to their needs, and the fact that their suggestions and concerns are valued. Those working with Japanese colleagues enjoy their kindness, generosity, and adherence to company rules.

However, some potential challenges exist, such as limited opportunities for growth for those not close to higher management, a company culture where ideas may not be welcomed unless favoured by those in authority positions, unequal training opportunities across different roles, and resource constraints like sales representatives having to share vehicles for customer visits.

Not for you if you have high regard to principles and personal worth.
The good thingsOpportunity and growth for people who are close to higher management. overly concerned with procedure at the expense of efficiency or common sense. Benefits are okay only if you have reached a salary threshold. Otherwise, the annual increase and other basic benefits are dismissible.
The challengesThe culture isn't that great. Ideas are rarely welcomed except when it's in favor of those in position. Employees are treated as dispensable assets. Training is not an equal opportunity as only selected positions are trained and/or cross trained for career forwarding objectives.

The good thingsThe company provide intensive training to all new employees that they hired. The company provide timely and immediate response with the employees needs. They know how to appreciate the employees suggestions and concerns.
The challengesBeing a Sales Representative in the company I can say that one of the most challenging part working in Nitto is the lacking of vehicles to be used in customer visit. It's very challenging because we need to share a vehicle every day. No assigned car in every Sales personnel which you will be required to visit a lot of customers every day.
