    Don't Do It, Just Don't
The good thingsWork From Home privilege is given as the office is too small vs the actual company size
The challengesThe team management are disorganized, with little to no cooperation between departments. Disconnect between managers/leads are common here. Promotions is an extinct language here. HR have to time to answer queries from employees. OT is not compensated monetarily and is turned into offset/rest days. Joint venture move is just absolute garbage. All went to shambles after the country managing director was replaced as it turned into greater than company style management.

The good thingsGood people, good teamwork.
The challengesSalary was fine, it was slightly below current market offers.

Your life depends on project stability
The good thingsGenerous PTOs and half of it is convertible.
The challengesI got benched, and the projects they offer aren’t even related to my experience. Sometimes, they’ll invite you for an interview on the same day for a role you know nothing about. It’s also ‘no work, no pay’ while on the bench, so once you receive your back pay, I suggest planning your finances carefully. The timesheet approval process is also quite a hassle. If you're looking for a big salary jump, sure, come here—but don’t plan to stay long. Or consider looking for other companies. Also, OTs aren't paid if you're P3/P4, but you can just use it as offset leave. There's no job stability here, the pay was nice though.

Its nice to be happy, lalalala
The good thingsYear End Bonus and Leave incentives
The challengesThe team leads are disorganized, with little cooperation between the clusters. There are frequent conflicts and gaps in the process. Many members of the project team, when they run out of time, budget, or fail to meet deadlines, attempt to shift the responsibility to the other ops team, buying themselves more time to resolve their own issues. Raises and promotions will come when the end of the world is near.

If you want a chance to ruin your mental health, come to Yondu.
The good thingsOutside-work activities, that's all!
The challengesThey will only throw you into a project. All caring to achieve the qouta, regardless if your overworked, or mentally declining. Bosses often pushes you to go OT, even knowing that your OT is not compensated monetarily. Work-life balance, 0. Bosses, almost has no care for the employee, 0. Management, 0. Plus, my current work does not align with my job-description. Promotions are a myth here. A 5% salary raise took almost 2 years.

Good jumping point to your next job not the best to stay in permanently.
The good thingsSalary was better than my previous company. Generous VL/SL
The challengesOnce your project is done or cancelled you will be benched. New policy that bench employees will be RTO for 5 days rather than the agreed Hybrid/WFH policy.

It was okay. If you care about fair salary, Yondu might not be for you.
The good thingsIt was a good experience somehow. I have met inspiring people. Got to experience working in a big company.
The challengesNo increase for the first anniversary of working in Yondu (unless you were hired before April) is a disappointment. The 45-day notice upon resigning is also a hassle. Don't expect to get much if you're going to do a terminal leave. You'll have to wait another 30 days (or more) just to get your final pay. If you are currently employed here and planning to leave, you better plan your exit well, especially financially.

Non toxic workplace that offers good exposure and career advancement.
The good thingsThe team collaboration and exposure provided me flexible career advancements, it doesn't only provide technical capabilities but also management and communication skills.
The challengesThe environment is awesome, but the only downside is the competitiveness of salary, in a years time I've spent so far, the salary is average. Looking forward if I'll be able to change my opinion on this anytime soon.

    Yondu is great company
The good things. They offer great benefits for their employees . You'll be able to learn a lot and grow as a professional . 50% of VL credits are convertible to cash . Accommodating and professional recruiters
The challenges. May sometimes require you to work beyond working hours (but who doesn't?) . Does not guarantee WFH set-up (though, this was only offered during the pandemic) . Does a lot of Organization re-structure (this will also give you an opportunity for growth)

No consultant care, but Globe Telecom has stylish lounges
The good thingsPays on time, provides fast laptop for working, Globe Tower is stylish
The challengesDid not check up on me from time to time, the project was very challenging at Globe Telecom, colleagues at Globe were nice but the immediate supervisor and manager were unsupportive and unprofessional, i could've stayed longer or took better care of myself if I had support from my agency but I don't, it was an unpleasant experience

    Role Misalignment and Stressful work
The good thingsYou could experience and learn a lot of things.
The challengesNo work life balance You have additional work aside from the contract you signed. There is a huge misalignment between the HR and Tech Group with regards to your role.

The good thingsThe will always try to talk or attend to your needs and will take action if there is something they can do about it. Also very active management with events and incentives.
The challengesThere not much not to like about the company. Only the company you will be deployed to.

Working at Yondu: What to Consider
The good thingsFast hiring process Will provide raining in relevant skills if required by the client
The challengesThe contract includes a non-compete agreement, which will limit your opportunity to work with same industry for I think 3 years. So before signing a contract you must think of it since most of the companies now are outsourcing their human resources you will loose a lot of opportunities in the future

    Great experience, low salary
The good thingsHR is caring to their employees. They communicate well but sometimes inconsistent.
The challengesOT pay is delayed due to manual timesheet. No career development and no training, only online (shared account) module via Udemy.

    Great start but low pay
The good thingsGreat teams, love the culture. Everyone is friendly. The head of my department is the best, she understands the problems we're facing (if any) and always has our back. Decent everyday workload; can leave the office on time without anyone eyeing you. Stay long enough and you'll get promoted soon.
The challengesAlmost impossible targets, luck is a great factor to achieve it, not by your skills. Management knows this issue but still goes through with it. Low pay considering my role was profit-based, commission doesn't compensate it. Discussed this with my manager but sadly they can't do anything about it. Yearly increase is dirt cheap as well.

I have learned so many things in a short period of time while having fun.
The good thingsPeople in YONDU- Yondudes, are fun to work with. You won't feel any pressure and they will guide you.
The challengesTime management. I was tasked to do a lot of things because they have many employees to handle. And as an intern, i am obliged to do everything listed in my workload. As a result, I always come to work earlier than 8 and I will come home 30 minutes late. I dont have any regret doing any of that because I had finished the things what im told to do before leaving Yondu.

Great for fresh grad and those who want to have in-depth experience in Software Development
The good things- Offers waterfall methodology training - Has complete software development team (from BusDev, Tech Pre Sales, PM, BA, QA, FrontEnd to Backend Dev) - Allows concentration on applied position, no other job description whatsoever upon onboarding - Positive working environment
The challenges- Timeline challenged projects and puts the blame and repremand the employees - Tends to assign existing projects with irate clients to new employees - Applicants should be willing to work during holidays, weekend and extend work in the office for like 24 hrs especially during implementation phase. - Career growth/promotion is impossible

The good thingsI always feel that the company cares for the employees and their individual development. Yondu offers courses related to an employees career or to the path the employee would like to take. Most of them for free / without bond. Pay is good. :) I also like the fact that they always reach out to their employees.
