San Isidro, officially known as the Municipality of San Isidro, is a 5th class municipality in the province of Surigao del Norte, Philippines (within the famous Island of Siargao). According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 8,519 people. It is composed of 12 barangays, namely: Buhing Calipay (where Banggon Spring is located, Del Carmen (Pob.), Del Pilar, Macapagal, Pacifico (a surfing area), Pelaez, Roxas, Santa Paz, San Miguel (another toursim area), Santo Niño, Tambacan and Tigasao. It has a total land area of 42.03 sqkm (520 sq ml) mostly agricultural and coastal. Its main source of income are farming, fishing and tourism activities.
