What’s it like working at Mitsuba?

    AI summary of recent reviews

Employees at Mitsuba appreciate the friendly working environment and supportive colleagues, noting that people are kind and helpful. The company provides training and learning opportunities for new employees, with many gaining valuable experience and developing new skills. Management is fair and prioritises employee safety, whilst salary is paid on time or sometimes early. The company also offers good facilities, including a nice canteen, clean lockers, and free meals during orientation.

However, there are some potential challenges to consider. Overtime is frequent, with expectations to work beyond regular hours and on Sundays, which can impact work-life balance. Starting salaries can be modest for inexperienced workers, and some employees have raised concerns about salary increases in recent years. The workload can be demanding, with pressure to meet target deadlines and handle production requirements. The company operates on shifting schedules, which requires adjustment and can affect social life, and payslips are not routinely provided unless there is a specific urgent reason.

Good for 1 day process needy job application asap
The good things1 day process. Good for first time job seeker have free meals while orientation in these trying times.
The challengesIt's always about to be in a line with OT always and Sunday work. Bad thing in plant 1 if there's no more material there is a no work which can be up to 5 days very frustrating to have these as it lowers salary while in plant 2 in my second application we still had a work even though it's plan finished as our superiors still have as a work even just to be in other lines for extra work to be no worked at all. So it's all a matter of luck to be in a plant and superiors that are good like in plant 2 which have also always likely an early payday unlike plant 1 that's not early just basically 15 & end of the month day. Both also don't give payslip unless for a valid reason of purpose which is really urgent. It's a normal thing also the attitude of workers can be toxic but it's understandable it's just sometimes van be unprofessional specially for regular ones that's needs to end as it disrupts professionalism in the workforce.

Working in Mitsuba is exhausting yet bearable, and exciting.
The good thingsThe company always prioritize the employees’ safety. They have implemented a rules and regulations for everyone’s safety. Salary were never delayed, sometimes it’s earlier than the salary day
The challengesWhat I don’t like is actually unreasonable and it’s just normal when it comes to factories, which the overtime, they always have overtime to the point that you have no choice but to stay and work because there is no one who can replace in your position
