    Great workplace so as long as they don't UNDERSTAFF you
    The good thingsManageable workload, so as long as you're not understaffed (not usually the case). You'll learn a lot and be proficient with using excel and other computer mechanics.
    The challengesusually understaffed (they have the tendency to think otherwise, but really, they are wary of adding employees). OT's are pretty much mandatory and almost everyday. They care about sales A LOT in detriment of their employees (which is the norm, sadly). Workplace is toxic depending with the manager. No proper store scheduling. Not a great place to stay in the long run (the newer employee has bigger salary than the old ones).

    a good home for a lot of experiences but not being compensated with their salary
    The good thingsthe good thing here is that you would be trained about how you work under pressure especially in our branch, because there would be a lot of additional tasks aside from the initial job description. co-workers are good colleagues here, too. it's fun and a good training for pharmacists.
    The challengesfor the nth time I'm seeing this as a challenge in this company: the employer don't compensate the equality of job and the salary. It's not enough lalo na for pharmacists., didn't justify the hardships we did in this company. They do an increase but more or less 300-500 pesos only. they deduct your benefits in you basic salary. the health card they provided was not that good.

    The good thingsWorking in MedExpress allowed met o be multi-faceted in terms of the pharmacy profession. Working as a senior pharmacist/supervisor allowed me to experience running the day to day operations of a drugstore for 24/7, this gave me the experience to be decisive and to be a better manager.
    The challengesThe communication with HO was quite difficult due to the distance and the limited resources for communication. Recruitment and training of new staff was also difficult to process and request.

    The good thingsGood experience for new pharmacists. You get familiar with the medicines and encode medication histories per patient. Fulfillment as a pharmacist is achieved in this company.
    The challengesIt gets stressful as you get promoted. Not enough staff per branch to execute all tasks assigned. Stressful workplace for managers. No proper training for promoted managers. Not enough benefits and bonuses. Not a good job if you are the bread winner of the family.

    Not the best place to work for a very long time.
    The good thingsI enjoyed my work very much. My workmates were like a family. I had fun working with them. Unfortunately, I have to resign because the salary is not enough and the benefits were not good. Even if you stay for 5yrs you won't get anything from them. Yeah, you'll be rewarded with a trophy and a 1k or 2k? They don't really care about their employees, they only care about the MONEY.
