Great company! I love how they treat their employees during events and in travel conferences.
The good thingsCompany is very generous. Amazing events. Good pay plus bonuses. More benefits to employees and their family.
The challengesHitting quotas. To get more sales and referrals from bank partners. Negative feedback from clients with existing policies with negative fund values.

    Best company to work for
The good thingsLots of trainings, great colleagues and support team, collaborative.
The challengesWhen there was a change in management, work life balance is gone, politics emerged and it was not like the way it was back in 2010-2018.

Stressful yet with Manulife itself, it is the best!
The good thingsDuring our training days, everything went well. The training team is very friendly and professional. But when you were endorsed to your branch, stress and quota starts. Some knowledge from your training will not be able to apply in your real state in bank. For me and maybe some of FSAs have difficulty with some bank staff relationship. Some are very indifferent to FSA. They will make you feel you are not part of the bank. Some bank staff are very hard to approach and not that supportive to give leads. Manulife itself is a competitive company and I am thankful for all the benefits they have given to us especially during COVID days. I hope the management will also look into the leads generation especially with the bank partner. To make other bank branch partners be competitive enough and have a harmonious relationship with FSAs since it is a joint venture. It's good if your branch is very competitive with you since you will also receive incentives like VPAY or even travel incentives. This is a stressful work ,but since you're in sales, it is normal thing. However, sometimes it makes more stressful is with your branch relationship since they are the ones who will give you hot leads. Good thing that my branch is just near my residence. Lastly, with my co-area FSAs and Area Manager they are fun to be with and nice.

The good thingsI enjoy how to communicate other people, because i'm the people so very shy, but i'm started work as a financial sales associate, I survived my shy type to confidence, and positive attitude in my experience as a Sales person.
The challengesI challenges my work how to handle my stress, pressure and field every day.

    On-boarding process is non-existent!
The good thingsThe salary is competitive and the ambiance is so relaxed.
The challengesThey do not have an on-boarding process for their employees. If agents need to ask their managers and trainers about the products all the time then it only means that they didn't learn what they needed in class before deployment. It's a mom and pop store that is still way behind techniques and processes. What's worse is that they do not receive criticisms gracefully.

    Pros and Cons
The good thingsComprehensive benefits including dependents. No ceiling opportunity when it comes to compensation. The people are so polite and has very professional ethics practices. There are many rooms for self development and upgrading. Non-stop learning were always available for grasp. The company is closely monitoring your weaknesses and as been given attention to improve and refocus again for your success.
The challengesSome factors are also there that contributed to let go of the company due to self-respect. My boss wasn't so good in managing people to sustain my ignition to perform well. She should give a better understanding of individual situation. It is not all about production but rather motivation to fight hard and earn back that power to do well and keep the fire burning.
