Not for the faint heartThe good things- Guaranteed 15th month bonus, allowances included in gross monthly
- HMO, group life insurance
- Friendly surroundings, work-life balance, family-friendly (at most times)
- MOST bosses are generous and appreciative
- If you're in the support group, pressure is lesser.
The challenges- Government-regulated, I don't know if it's related but it's hard at times to get approval due to many layers of approving body
- Most heads are legacy (came from govt pre-1997) so some are not open for innovations.
- There are individuals who can have their way because they know how to tickle the higher-ups (i.e. can pick where they can be transferred anytime for only a little justifications).
