    The good thingsOne good thing is that I'm doing a field marketing and able to enhance my communication skills by talking and presenting in front of a large crowd and promoting LPU Manila. I'm enjoying what I'm doing because I got also a chance to meet marketers of other colleges and universities.

    Good support for the staff
    The good thingsGood, relevant trainings awaits you in this company. They reward people who works hard. People from the Laguna campus are quite nice and friendly. They are very helpful and are good team players when it comes to resolving tasks and audits. The students are very accommodating and friendly as well. If you like working with students, be sure that you get a job that deals with students.
    The challengesThe workload is a bit unmanageable at times especially when you fare it against your compensation. But what lacks in compensation, the company gives in terms of camaraderie among employees as well as the relationship between the managers and staff.

    The good thingsWorking in an educational institution like this is quite simple but a stable one. You can also have a benefits of continuing studies and pursue masteral and doctoral degree. An environment where you always meet young and energetic people.
    The challengesHonestly being in the field of information technology there is no much or I can say that only few challenges are only being encountered working in a educational institution compare with BPO or other company.

    As a part-time teacher
    The good thingsFriendly people. Treated like a part of the family, even though you're new. Students are polite and eager to learn. Gives award to all faculty members, even part-timers.
    The challengesSalary is not competitive enough, especially if you are new. It takes time for salary to increase. Very strict in dismissing classes on time. I'd say, it should be the quality not the quantity...

    A Good Start
    The good thingsYou have different schedule everyday. The deans and other school heads are not demanding.They understand that their professors have other personal and professional life. In case they implement some new rule,they are professionally strict and understanding. A lot of professors have been staying there for 30 years.
    The challengesThe subjects you handled on the first semester may be changed on the next semesters. You might teach something that is not your major. Though,it's a good challenge intellectually. :)
