    An okay company
The good things7AM-4PM working hours, you can go home early and avoid the traffic. No Saturdays. Fully implemented 15 minute break in the morning and afternoon. Daily morning prayers and first Friday masses are conducted every month. Holiday swaps e.g- when a holiday is on a Tuesday, the management will swap the holiday on the Monday for the employees to have a long weekend.
The challengesNo annual salary increase. Even if you have a good performance appraisal, this is still not a guarantee for a salary increase. No summer outing, employees are to spend their own money just to have a summer outing per department. The company is always on a tight budget which results to a stagnant development of the employees since there are no enhancement training offered to employees. Employees enjoy talking about gossips. Only gov't mandated benefits are offered. You can avail a paid leave once you have rendered 1 year to the company which is what the government has mandated, but other companies offer paid leaves upon regularization of the employees, they could've improved on this at least. High attrition rate. Low salary

Greatest HR team in the world
The good thingsThe people in JFC are its greatest asset. I was lucky to have been part of a group of HR guys who just exuded fun in every step of the way. We got the job done while having great fun.
The challengesSome of the systems in place were backwards and really needed to be updated badly. There were also some teams who did not cooperate much. And the company has a habit of launching half-baked projects. Some panned out pretty well while some fell flat on its face.

    In Too Deep
The good thingsWith Julies Franchise Corporation, I learned a whole new set of skills. From Bakery Science and Business Management to dealing with various types of personalities, I had a lot to bring home with me when I left the company. My boss was very supportive and understanding, and despite of her busy schedule, she took time to answer my questions and guide me though the training process.
The challengesI'd say the problem would mostly be on the organization of the office as a whole. I had a hard time adjusting to several organization changes since they were in fact, three in just one year. Also, there was not any substantial increase of my base pay despite of getting good reviews from my boss and my increasing number of responsibilities.
