    The good thingsMy onboarding experience has been very positive from start to finish. The entire process was smooth, well-organized, and efficient. Communication was clear and timely, which made my transition into the company seamless and stress-free. What stood out for me was the company culture. Everyone I interacted with was welcoming, professional, and supportive. There is a strong sense of collaboration and respect across teams, creating a healthy environment. Being part of the organization now, I can see why employees choose to stay long-term-- the company invests in their people and their development.

    I highly recommend this company—It is amazing and worth supporting.
    The good thingsI didn’t expect to find a local company that could truly match the standards of global organizations—not only in terms of employee benefits and engagement, but also in the support system provided by management and colleagues. From Day 1, I felt the strong culture of support. The company ensures that new employees transition smoothly by providing the necessary training, guidance, and encouragement. Everyone is willing to help, which makes it easier for new joiners to adapt and become productive in their roles. Learning about the company’s low attrition rate which is around 10%, with some due to retirements, and the average employee tenure is about 12 years. For me, that was really something, & shows they value their employees. I actually discovered this opportunity on JobStreet unexpectedly while job hunting last year. I initially skipped the posting, but after going back and reading the job description more carefully, I realized it was something I could do—and the rest is history.

    The good thingsThe company really values work-life balance, which I appreciate a lot. The hybrid setup makes it easier to manage both work and personal life, and the overall environment is supportive. People are approachable, and there are plenty of opportunities to learn and grow through different programs and activities. It feels like a stable place where you can build a solid career.
    The challengesOne thing I’ve noticed is that getting promoted or moving up can take quite some time, even if you’re putting in the effort and going beyond your usual tasks. It would be great if the process for promotions or recognition was a bit faster or clearer, so people know how their efforts translate into career growth.

    The challengesThe only challenge with the InLife Head Office is that there are no public transportation routes that pass directly through the area, which makes commuting a bit difficult for those who rely on it.

    Long-time employee, stayed coz it's great!
    The good thingsI appreciate the hybrid location setup they have for my role in IT. Bosses are cool, they're not micromanaging. There's a batch of us that came in almost at the same time, and we've stayed. The company provides training opportunities through their online learning modules, so no one stagnates in their jobs, and helps you discover your own talents. Employee engagement is also good. The company always have non-work related activities that help me interact with other employees.
    The challengesThe challenges are acceptable, as they come with the nature of my job in IT. Tight deadlines are always present regardless of the employers; it just differs in how the people in the company handle them, and in my experience, they handle it okay.

    I would describe my experience to be what I envisioned my ideal company to work for is.
    The good thingsThis is my 3rd job and I feel like this is where I can stay until retirement. Medical and health benefits are really good, work-life balance is really being practiced. The HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia award is really well-deserved.

    The good thingsI really enjoyed my time working as a full-time manager at Insular Life. The company has a healthy and supportive work environment that values both growth and work-life balance. Teams are collaborative, communication is open, and management is approachable. The flexible setup and trust given to employees make it easy to do your best work without feeling burnt out. Plus, the salary and benefits are competitive, which makes the experience even more rewarding.
    The challengesOne challenge for me was the distance from where I live, which made the weekly travel a bit tiring. It would be even better if the setup could be adjusted to only two work-from-office days instead of three to give employees more flexibility and balance especially for those that live far away.

    The challengesAs a contractual employee, I truly value the opportunity to work at InLife and contribute meaningfully, but I’ve also encountered challenges such as job insecurity, limited access to benefits and career development opportunities, restrictions in participating in some company activities, and the need to constantly prove my value amid unclear expectations. There are occasional gaps in leadership expertise for the managers, which sometimes result in over-reliance on subordinates and blurred accountability during high-level discussions.
