    I was given tasks and responsibilities in The Butchery Kitchen throughout my whole internship at The Heritage Hotel Manila. I work a rotating shift, and it changes based on the instructions I've been given. I was exposed to a lot of kitchen work.
    The good thingsI've learned a ton from working in the Butchery Kitchen. I was able to learn the proper and quick method for chopping meat. I also learned how to clean seashells properly. Additionally, I picked up a lot of knowledge on how to properly bread and marinate fish and other meats. Being a part of The Heritage Hotel Manila's Butchery Kitchen is an honor. With all the new information I now possess, I eagerly anticipate applying my newfound skills and knowledge to advance in my chosen field.

    My good old times at Heritgae
    The good thingsthis is actually my first job. I have learn so many things, from waiting tables, answering a phone calls and to gather patience. I also gained friends and clients who likes me and they give recomendations to my boss.
    The challengesIts hard to work your emotions in a industry like this, because we provide customer satisfaction and a fast face world class service. And you have to make sure that you adjust your time, your weekends. But after the shift everybody is happy.

    A job in the tourism industry worth considering.
    The good thingsThe benefits were competitive (i.e. uniform or laundry privilege, duty meal, monthly service charge and reimbursable office expenses). The job gave opportunities for training and personal development. Employees were given recognition (e.g. Employee of the Month Award and Employee's Birthday Celebration).
    The challengesThe owners are from Singapore and their representatives do not share the Filipino sentiment and culture. They can be very indifferent and detached from the realities of the Philippine society. Leadership is often changing so you never get to know the key leaders well.
