Poor Leadership, Low Appreciation and Toxic Environment
The good thingsHybrid and Flexi time
The challengesThe work environment at this company has several challenges. There is a noticeable lack of proper guidance from supervisors, and leadership is generally poor. The audit team suffers from low manpower, which increases workload and stress. Despite this, supervisors tend to micromanage and rarely show appreciation for employees’ efforts, often focusing only on mistakes. The supervisor is not a role model and does not lead by example. I also observed that employees stay for less than a year. Additionally, there are no bonuses or salary increases, which makes career growth and motivation difficult. Overall, this experience highlighted issues in management, recognition, and workforce support that potential applicants should be aware of.

Toxic Work Environment and No Career Growth
The good thingsHybrid and Flexi time
The challengesWorking in this company has been one of the most disappointing experiences in my career. From the start, the supervisor was extremely toxic. Overtime is expected daily—not optional—and none of it is paid. Even if you stay late every day to meet unrealistic demands, there's no recognition or appreciation. It’s clear that this company doesn’t value its employees. There are no opportunities for growth, no clear career path, and no salary increases, no matter how hard you work. Promotions are rare, and often based on favoritism, not merit. If you're considering applying here, think twice. This company may give you a paycheck, but it will cost your mental health, time, and motivation. You deserve better.

Poor Leadership, Unrealistic Expectations, and Unmanageable Workload
The good thingsFun Company Events like Pride Month
The challengesWithin just one month, my supervisor expected me to already know everything about the role, despite minimal training. I was handling tasks meant for at least three people, which made the workload extremely overwhelming and unsustainable. The department suffers from poor leadership. The supervisor does not give constructive criticism — instead, feedback is often harsh, discouraging, and demotivating. This kind of communication creates a toxic environment that affects employee morale and performance. It’s no surprise that people don’t stay long in this department. Expectations are too high, support is lacking, and overtime is not compensated even though staying late is often required. I hope the management seriously addresses these issues to create a healthier, more supportive workplace for future employees.

Positive workplace culture but poor leadershipWork experience: This company is a good starting point for fresh graduates or those with less than a year of experience. It provides opportunities to learn basic professional skills and gain exposure to the corporate environment. However, long-term growth is quite limited, and many of the tasks can become repetitive. Work environment: The work environment is good with employee engagement activities that help promote work-life balance. However, leadership within our department also needs improvement. The supervisor tends to micromanage and doesn't always choose the right words when giving feedback or criticism, which can affect team morale. Employees in this department typically stay only 6 months to 1 year due to challenges related to poor leadership and micromanagement. Benefits: We enjoy employee discounts and employee sale. However, not all of the benefits listed in the job offer were provided such as the birthday incentive.

    Terrible Management to Employees
The good thingsWork from home. Bonuses were fine before pandemic. Employee discounts
The challengesNo matter how competent you are, it will never be enough to have the promotion you deserve. You have to work even on weekends and your hardwork will be tagged as "extra mile" for the company. There's no compassion or empathy given to employees especially during pandemic. There was a time we worked around 10-12 hours and only 2 or 4 hours will be compensated 🙂
