The Most Disappointing Hiring Experience I’ve Ever HadThe good thingsI thoroughly enjoyed the examination. The English exam is so comprehensive that it could take an hour merely to read a single question. Truly remarkable!
The challengesThe Most Disappointing Hiring Experience I’ve Ever Had
Lengthy Examination – The exam was designed to take an entire day. However, I only spent about two hours completing it since I had other interviews scheduled that same day.
Multiple Interviews – I was interviewed by five different individuals across three separate days. In total, I dedicated approximately one full day for the first three interviews, half a day for the second round, and another half day for the final one. I even received positive feedback from their Chief Operating Officer.
Unsatisfactory Job Offer – After all those assessments and interviews, I received an offer that was significantly lower than my current salary.
It was quite frustrating to go through such a long and demanding process, only to be presented with an offer well below my expectations and existing compensation. If the company could not meet my asking salary, it would have been more considerate not to proceed with my application in the first place.
