Maybe I'm the only one who views the company like this, but I'll post my thoughts anyway. The good things-You will never be bored because you will always have something to do.
-Higher chances of promotion and professional growth since the company really looks for ways to grow so you can really say that your ideas will be treasured in this company.
-You will further develop your soft and transferrable skills here (patience, time management, etc.)
-Also, most of the people there are kind and would encourage you to stay in the company.
The challenges-Low salary, especially for an engineer. I think this will help applicants: the salary shown during the job offer is truthful, but very misleading for some fresh grads as they showed and highlighted a total which included the expected pay for OT, price for getting HMOs, etc. Still legal, because they showed the initial salary and the actual breakdown of the total. You cannot take a picture of the offer. Unlike in other companies, your only copy is the contract and it will declare the real and minimum salary. They're not really lying, it's just important for you to be wise.
-Prepare to normally work 12-15 hours a day. This is considered as OT but pay is very low.
-Personally, I think GFP is a good avenue to learn about fiber optics but it is not yet as technologically advanced as it sees itself to be.
-A culture of gossip. Although I understand that most companies will normally have this problem.
