    the compensation (especially that huge annual bonus) is the strongest reason to stay
    The good things- bonuses are soooo huge, especially if you are one of the top performers
    The challenges- the leadership team, especially after the Globe takeover. Leaders prefer yes people who agree with them regardless - culture of fiefdoms and cliques - the technology available to employees. this is really disappointing for a FinTech company. they use a free version of Google data studio (gasp!) and their workflow tool is this really shoddy internally made tool, among other things. with all the money the company has, they refuse to invest in good tools.

    The good thingsPeople in Commercial are collaborative and go above and beyond to help each other. Each day feels unique and filled with interesting challenges. The company is also the most generous I've ever had in terms of salary and benefits.

    No longer the place to be unlike before
    The good thingsOne of the best places to work in during its starting years but things went really bad when the Globe management took over. The good thing about the Globe takeover was the compensation and benefits. HR got better. But the downsides were extreme that it'll feel like you're selling your soul.
    The challengesManagement is poor. Doesn't fully understand the fintech business since they're from telco but acts as if they're the experts and doesn't listen/ Management style is very top down, and likes yes people. If you have your own brain and like to exercise critical thinking, don't work with this management. Lots of hours wasted in useless meetings. High attrition rate so you'll end up doing a lot of the work.

    The good thingsFlexible shift, you can in from 8am-10:30am , not a micro manage company, 13th and 14th month pay, high salary,
    The challengesif you are a backend developer, they will force to do a full stack, some scrum masters are not understandable and emphasizing the workload of the devs, if you are a jr developer, the task given to you is a senior level and in a full stack role.

    Inhuman work hours, bad management, band aid solutions
    The good thingsThe people were great pre-Globe takeover. Honestly they were the reason I stayed for so long. Work was also challenging and fast-paced but still at healthy levels.
    The challengesThey expect you to dedicate your whole life to the company. Meeting start early in the morning all the way till night. Expected to be responsive even on weekends and holidays. Also management changed for the worse - they don't care abt employees. Extremely top-down decisions with no care for concerns from below. They do band-aid solutions like increasing salaries and giving trainings but don't really try to fix the root cause which is the broken work culture.

    The good thingsLike any other developing company, the opportunities come and go as needed. A company in a booming industry. If you want to implementing new things, can recommend this company (depending on your role).
    The challengesSuper high attrition rate and re-organization. Poor management. Processes are not firm. No business process internally which causes confusion - documentation, process integration, standards. Lack of matured leaders. No genuine care for employees. Departments work in silos.
