    High expectations, Low guidance
The good thingsThey offer hybrid work arrangements. Benefits are processed within a month after you start.
The challengesStrict timeline for employees that work individually on a project when they could assign more people to complete it. There is also the feeling of uncertainty about employment as there is little to no guidance on how to do the job they expect you to do; you'll just hear a negative review from the management with mostly no helpful advice. Better ask about their business practice and turnover rate.

A nice addition to my portfolio and career profile
The good thingsI am thankful for being given the opportunity to handle the projects assigned to me. The projects I got were exciting and inspiring.

    Medium sized design firm
The good thingsIf you want to really learn all the ins and outs of being an architect, this firm is your best bet. Sir Ian will assign you to the different stages of various projects. You will not be limited to just drawing or site supervision, unlike where I came from.
The challengesI had to really prove to my office mates that I can also do what they do. It is hard to be always showing that you know what to do.

    Still Work From Home
The good thingsTo be honest, I did not work here. I was interviewed and they offered me the job. They are requiring past experience in high-rise buildings and resorts (because those are their current projects as per the interviewee). The initial job offer is acceptable. I was excited to work in their hotel projects because I wanted to have that kind of portfolio. In the end I did not accept because I am looking for a place where everyone reports to work in the office. I cannot work in our boarding house. Work is Monday to Friday.
The challengesThey told me that they have hybrid work from home setup. There are days that you will be asked to report to the office, some days you work from home. You are also required to have your own laptop.

    Big architectural projects
The good thingsThey have a system for working remotely. I was able to handle big projects like high-rise condominiums, a hotel, beach resort, and two commercial buildings. Proud of my output here.
The challengesWork from home during the pandemic. I understand that this cannot be helped but my home environment is not conducive to work.

This company encourages you to give your best
The good thingsI worked there with exceptional people who know their stuff. The company encourages well-rounded architects who get assigned with planning, drawing, site supervision, etc. You will not be stuck in one kind of job.
The challengesYou are expected to be passionate about what you do. I find it hard to keep up with my officemates who are really good.
