Enjoyable work and smooth WFH setup overshadowed by poor management and job insecurity. The good thingsI genuinely enjoyed the work itself and found it fulfilling. The work-from-home setup was smooth and efficient, making daily tasks easier to manage. Remote work also provided a healthier balance—less stress physically and financially, while allowing me to stay productive
The challengesUnfortunately, the onsite setup presented significant hurdles. Travel time and costs were burdensome compared to the ease of working from home, which was both more productive and less draining.
Job security was another major concern. The recent layoffs of seasoned employees, followed by the hiring of new staff from other locations, created uncertainty and frustration, undermining the sense of stability.
Management style also detracted from the positives. Supervisors often engaged in power-tripping behavior, which eroded morale and overshadowed the otherwise enjoyable aspects of the job.
