Toxic Work Environment and Unethical Management
The good thingsI want to start by saying that the only redeeming quality of this company is the employees. The people I work with are incredibly talented, supportive, and hardworking. Everyone is genuinely good-hearted and tries to make the best of a tough situation.
The challengesI rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about this company's toxic environment. I have witnessed firsthand the toxic culture this company fosters, especially under the current management. The management team is utterly clueless. It’s clear they don’t know what they’re doing and are more interested in power trips than actually leading the company. The leader of the team, in particular, seems to derive satisfaction from micromanaging and creating a climate of fear. Rather than empowering employees, they belittle and scare people, often making decisions that have no logical basis and that make employees feel undervalued. I’ve seen so many instances of employees being unfairly treated—either overworked without proper recognition or punished for mistakes that were beyond their control. The mental toll this has on the staff is huge. There’s no support, and employees are afraid to speak up for fear of retaliation. It’s genuinely heartbreaking to watch people who are talented, hard-working, and dedicated suffer from stress, burnout, and even anxiety because of the way they are treated. The company claims to care about its people, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. It’s all talk with no action. If you're looking for a healthy work environment, stay far away from this place. It’s only a matter of time before the toxicity becomes too much to handle for anyone with self-respect. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.

Working at Fil-Global has been a challenging experience due to several concerns.
The good thingsThe colleagues you will meet
The challengesFirstly, there is a severe lack of work-life balance, with employees often finding themselves overwhelmed by the demands of the job. Additionally, the management style is marked by excessive micromanagement, leading to a tense work environment where employees are constantly on edge, fearing the repercussions of the boss's mood swings. Compensation is another major issue, as salaries are stagnant and well below industry standards. Despite the heavy workload and low pay, there are no salary increases in sight, further dampening morale among the workforce. Another example is the boss's failure to fulfill promised rewards, such as the Christmas cash prize, which is either withheld entirely or given only partially. Moreover, while projecting a facade of generosity towards clients, the boss displays a contrasting attitude towards employees, disparagingly labeling them as "mukhang pera" (money-minded). Meanwhile, company funds seemingly vanish into overseas travel expenses, leaving employees feeling exploited and undervalued. Moreover, ethical concerns arise regarding the company's practices with clients. There have been instances where the boss appears to prioritize sales over integrity, potentially engaging in questionable tactics to secure deals. Refunds are rare, and when granted, come with significant deductions, leaving clients dissatisfied and employees disillusioned. Job security is virtually non-existent, with no guarantee of employment beyond the probationary period. Renewal decisions seem arbitrary, with little involvement from HR, rendering their role ineffective. Overall, working at Fil-Global is characterized by stress, low morale, and uncertainty about the future.

I really enjoy working here at FG and I saw myself still working and serving clients in the future
The good thingsmy colleagues are approachable and specially with our team, we enjoy our daily duties with goals and friendly competition. We make sure we feed each and everyone the knowledge we needed. I really love my job here at FG.
The challengessome of employees are not approachable and low temper when we have concerns. I think they should change their attitude so negativity could not pass to others
