Package may look good but it really is just average
The good thingsRoster of 2 is to 1 work schedule. Free accommodation (food, water, electricity, and land shuttle). Free clinical check-ups.
The challengesNo vacation leave. No bonuses aside from the 13th month pay. No yearly salary increase. When you compare the package offered with the challenges, you could see that the salary offer is probably average or below average.

It's a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together.
The good thingsI am working in an industry that is challenging, demanding and rewarding every day. I have the great fortune to be employed by a company whose owners have high expectations, not only of their employees, but of themselves. I work with terrific staff who pull together to exceed those expectations daily. Our company has a reputation that is laudable and makes me proud to be associated with it.
The challengesFinding the right people and developing the right skills and competencies is the key to a sustainable future and should monitor or maintain good reputations also.

Embrace new technology and strategies for productivity and efficiency.
The good thingsThe company supported the purchase and implementation of HR data base which is Human Resources Information System.
The challengesDuring the introduction of the HR data base to capture attendance and to process their payroll, employees showed negative behavior and do not want to embrace the new technology. The reason is that most of them are not well versed in using computers.

The good thingsMy employer allow me to make my decision especially in my line of work like piping designing and materials to be used in a certain project. My employer supports my recommendation and even encourage me to widen my knowledge by sending me to training school or seminar to upgrade my knowledge for the benefit of the company.
The challengesI encounter a difficult and challenging moment in my employment with my company, especially the 6/2 Roaster which means you have to work 42 days on site then you have to go on 14 days vacation with pay, wherein I find difficulties that I am away from my family even though I'm working here in the Philippines. The saddest point is you have to be back to site after 14 days as it will take 42 days.
