    The good thingsWork and life balance is really the best here. Good benefits since my parents are covered in health card. Shuttle. Free drinks. Lots of PTO. Most of the manager are really pro-employee

    The performance rating is not based on mere whim
    The good thingsThe performance rating is based on a specific metric. The rating is not based on mere whim or whether or not the management like you or not. If you did well you can get a lot of perks. There are a lot of perks and you would really feel that the company in general cares about you're well being.
    The challengesIt can get too strict on the metrics. Ideally there is be work-life balance but since this a financial services industry but it can be too demanding as well.

    The Ride Home
    The good thingsThere were perks and incentives. The best thing was since our shift was midshift, our time to go home would be around 12 midnight, there was a van that we would ride on and it would take us home right at our doorstep. At least, this company knew how to take care of their employees. And they weren't selfish on things to celebrate - either birthdays or holidays or special days like Halloween.
    The challengesJust going there, it's hard to commute these days. Just wished that there was a van that would bring us to the office, too. But, yes, that's too much already. I might forget, the competition in our department was tough although I was one of the top employees back then when I was with them.
