    Ambassador-designate Koji Haneda presented to President Rodrigo Roa Duterte the credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of the Philippines at Malacañang Palace on October 25 2017.During the subsequent meeting, President Duterte welcomed Ambassador Haneda to the country. Ambassador replied to the President that he started his career as a young diplomat in the 1980s in the Philippines, that making him a “Balikbayan”. Both Ambassador Haneda and President Duterte expressed their intention to do their utmost to further strengthen the excellent relations that exist between Japan and the Philippines.

    Great experience. That's all.
    The good thingsThe salary is above minimum. Lots of perks like you get to taste Japanese goodies, you get to learn about Japanese and their culture as well.
    The challengesToo much workload especially during summer. There's no enough staff like me there so most of the job will be handled by myself. No benefits also (SSS, etc.)
