    Great Work Culture and Fun Workplace
    The good thingsIts just like working from home but better.
    The challengesIt is an Australian company based on Sydney so we follow their Timezone which is 6am to 3am. you really need to be a morning person.

    Best company to work for. Unique culture that promotes genuine work-life balance.
    The good things1. The people are legitimately nice. Everyone is so approachable and friendly. 2. So many programs that promote the well-being of employees. There are hobby programs, VLs as rewards, paid sabbatical, social days, etc. 3. Workload is manageable, so far. 4. Top management (even the owners and directors) communicately directly with employees. They are not some "mythical" people whose names you know but you very rarely interact with. They take turns in leading the weekly staff meetings to make sure that their bond with the employees stay intact. 5. Office has a warm, homey ambience.

    I never expected the culture to possibly exist in this company and it is more of privilege to be part of the growing tribe of EG.
    The good thingsIt was the company that first initiated the help when we were infected by Covid19, with daily checks on our status even from afar, it was heartwarming.
    The challengesWaking up early, but it turns out beneficial. When you are in EG, the only challenge you'll face is a self-check if you can do great things in return for the company.

    The challengesDifficulty in adapting to current job market, hiring woes, difficulty scaling good management across the organization, roles are vague in some departments, benefits could definitely be better (i.e. non-standard leave allowances, limited HMO coverage, holiday swaps), pay could be better

    Good Company Culture, A lot of opportunities
    The good thingsEG have a lot of initiatives that helps employees to cope up with the current covid situation focusing on self and career development.
    The challengesFor the tech part there are still a lot of opportunities and works need to be done as project is still in a start up phase. But colleagues are very nice and collaborative so there are very minimal challenges in development.

    The management should establish protocols and procedures in the company.

    The challengesThe evaluation is more on the subjective type and lacks validation. Should visit their KPIs as this is not the result that you expect on your annual appraisal. They don't live with their core values that you are allowed to speak up on your opinions.

    Poor Administration Processes
    The good thingsGood salary. The development team is great.
    The challengesThey should apply documentation process in the back office. Proper management of people's needs. Show willingness to improve on the processes plus hear what the employees needs and negotiate altogether. Managers should always open their ears to know their people's opinions. Alignment and strict policies should be implemented.
