DE LUNA CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION owned by Mr. Eduardo De Luna started in 1989 from humble beginnings & incorporated on Feb. 2, 2000, enduring the past 15 years & still going strong, creating impact in the field of road hi-way & bridge construction, linking the urban to the cities & bringing joy & comfort to the riding public in 1996, PCAR, upgraded it's classification to category AAA General Bldg. General Const. the highest category & classification.Initially in 1989, the company was classified as category “C”, General Building and General Engineering with restriction of having project cost of less than or equal to PhP 3.0 M. Its first project, costing only PhP 100,000.00 was located in Bulacan. Filed at PCAB for upgrading of classification on December 20, 1994 and was approved as Category “B”, General Building, General Construction. In 1996, PCAB upgraded its classification to category AAA, General Building, General Construction, the highest category and classification.In 1993, facilities started to flourish and multiply and were able to purchase dump trucks, service vehicles, heavy equipment, asphalt batching plant, crushing plant and concreter batching plant. With millions of pesos worth of projects awarded to the company, its statement of income and financial condition tremendously increased. With the completion of Asphalt Overlay of Manila South Project (being the company’s showcased project), millions and billions worth of projects came our way.E.C DE LUNA projects are foreign-funded from well-known banks such as Asian Development Bank (ADB), Japan’s Export-Import Bank (JEXIM), and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development.Business conditions are likely to become severe for the construction industry in 2003 due to the current political and economic situations. In spite of deficiencies in our economic, we are aspiring to raise our share of orders in construction and civil engineering, strengthening our ability to provide technological solutions and exploiting our cost competitiveness to expand our client base, while offering detailed services through our newly established division in the high-growth fields of environmental and building business.
