The challengesOn the other departments, there are certain people with an unpleasant personality you have to deal with that requires patience and understanding due to there old age.

Working in DOT is fun, exciting, and memorable
The good thingsThe things I love while working in DOT are My collegues, the learning that we can get from processing of accreditation, to inspection of hotels, travel agencies, and transportation down to budgeting and quotations, the contribution you can give to the tourism industry, and having a chance to resolve and handle guests and customer complaints, and lastly the chance to handle tours for VIP guests.
The challengesThe complexity of the tourism industry is the biggest challenge because many firms and other factors are needed to be considered. In accreditation process the only challenge is the slow flow of submission of requirements by the clients.

It was an adventurous, earning while travelling, fun-filled, and artsy experience.
The good thingsEveryday is an adventure, a learning, an experience, and everyday is something I always look forward to as I wake up. People, places, nature, and everything under the sun. It is always been something I really wanted to experience ever since. And being a photographer is really my passion. I'm not just leaving my dream, I'm leaving my passion.
The challengesNothing, I enjoyed every single bit of it. There's no dull moments and if there is, I didn't take it negatively instead I use it as my fuel to push me harder and driver me farther.

Working for the People, with the People
The good thingsThe job allowed me to interact with people from different walks of life, different culture. It trained me to handle and implement projects. It gave me an opportunity to actually do something for the Philippines even if it is that frustrating.
The challengesEven when your intentions are good, some people will still be there to destroy you. Not all sectors will follow the policies you are trying to sell to them. This stress is doubled up by the slow career path and the inefficiency of some of your workmates.
