Was wonderful in the beginning but...The good thingsThe employers just don't look at the applicant's intellect, but onto the attitude and skills as well. I am a decent performer (software engineer) and I can say I'm not the brightest one, but I am grateful to be accepted and be part of the CWT family. I experienced hopping on multiple locations, but doesn't matter that much because the work environment itself was fine. The projects I had in the beginning were awesome, as it fits my experience well. Feels like I was born out of college to enhance the acquired skills for this company.
The challengesWas wonderful here in the beginning but it's terrible now. There are somewhat chaos in terms of building solutions/apps in one of the projects. There was a wasted phase that a project was shutdown for some reason.
And suddenly in the solutions group, there was a change of technology to use for one project. The new technology was not developer-friendly, it only fits those who just want to encode --- not for your average (or hardcore) traditional programmers. I believe it was not consulted with their in-house technology team, especially the solutions architects. It could have been undertaken through a feasibility study. This technology change is the primary reason for employee disengagement, especially for those programmers assigned to that project.
