Corbox Corporation was incepted on December 18, 2002 per SEC Company Reg. No. C200201437. It is primarily engaged as a general merchant specializing but not limited to the sales and manufacturing of quality corrugated boxes, single face wrapping, papers, single, double, triple wall plain boards, regular slotted container, full telescopic boxes, die cut boxes, partitions/dividers and other special designs. It is also engaged in trading, importing, exporting and service of packaging materials.Its first principal office of operation is located at Casuntingan, Mandaue City, Cebu Province with less than 15 employees on its first 6 months doing primarily box converting operation. Focused was on “low volume-low price market sector and over time had gained experience and eventually gained entry to MEPZ (Mactan Export Processing Zone), a considerable market that requires JIT (Just in Time) delivery for high quality boxes.In late 2003, Corbox Corporation ventured into the procurement of paper roll materials both from local and outside source for board tolling to ensure continuous supply of boards for box conversion thus strengthening its competitive position in the growing market.Early 2005, Corbox Corporation started to expand its business operation in Cebu by buying a property in Liloan. With over 1.3 hectares of space, a new box plant was built and a 1800 Corrugator (1,500 MT/mo. Installed Capacity) was installed and few other converting machines to mark its commitment as growing industry leader providing best packaging solution, delivery services of quality corrugated boxes. On the other hand, while anticipating the growing demand of corrugated fiber boards in Northern Mindanao, Corbox Corporation also initiated the installation of a smaller 1400 Corrugator in Tagoloan with over 800 MT a month installed capacity.Corbox Corporation in Tayud, Liloan is a very large corrugating box plant in Cebu. It is strategically located to serve “Just in Time” services to our major customers.
