Company has potential but ruined by politics and lack of good and just leadership.
The good thingsThe Management training in manila is quite comprehensive and really inspiring for most parts especially for IE's. The Logistics operations Head knows what she's doing & sets good leadership. The pay is average, but the annual bonuses raises it to maybe just above average for management positions in PH. It's also a small community and so promotions might be common every now and then for promising regular employees. Your management and process improvement skills will really be put to a test.
The challengesThere are many well experienced logistics managers but It is not uncommon to have subpar leadership from bosses. Not many managers are process & people oriented and in their approach to improvement. They prefer to be "output" oriented. Workplace politics is rampant, poor employee treatment and development and employee skills growth would be mainly from self-training and self-mentoring.
