    The good thingsPeople are nice. But of course, these nice people are just nice because they want gossips.
    The challengesThey do not treat our department as business partners, but instead, we are followers of commands and instructions. They hire people with great experiences, people from good companies, but they don't let these people do what they're good at. This is the main reasons why most new comers leaves quickly.

    The good thingsYou will learn a lot in project / property site that you are assigned to. You will improve your technical skills, customer/client concern management, project management up to supervisory and managerial skills when you are assigned to a project site. Average salary.
    The challengesWhen you are assigned to worst client (worst property/project site). Poor building, water leaks everywhere (uncontrollable), lack of budget, unreasonable unit owners and tenants, etc. Due to budget inadequacy, you will force to release your OWN MONEY just to address a specific urgent or critical concern. Client was not very supportive in addressing the building issues especially in approving the purchase orders. No overtime pay (for too much work load and working hours), No work/life balance (6 working days per week), No regularization at project sites (Project based / Contractual job only).

    No support from HQ and incompetent managers
    The good thingsGood colleagues and somehow environment. Workload is accomplished within the day. Pay is average with open overtime.
    The challengesNot really getting a good support from headquarters for HR concerns. No response with follow up concerns. Incompetent managers with no decision making skill. Stable and yet stagnant with no career growth.

    The good thingsA great company in all aspects including technical and property management. Technical managers will help/assist/advice you if you encounter difficulties.
    The challenges6 days a week work, and contract base concept. No regularization even you work for 10 years. But still a great company.

    I have a great experience in Colliers International.
    The good thingsGreat support from the management especially from our Director and Senior Property Manager. I also have great colleagues from our Property Manager through our Admin assistant and bookkeeper.
    The challengesI was challenged on how to handle client's concern especially when they are angry. I was also challenged on how to deal with problems.

    GOOD THING and FOR IMPROVEMENT
    The good thingsBeing a project-based employee is good, meeting with different people, and challenging event that can improve your knowledge and also your skills. ISO Certified, Procedures are already in the book. Well Guided and Monitored!
    The challengesMost requested, the HR Department must be friendly. I know they are also busy people but I suggest that they mustn't make the project-based employee wait for about 1 hour up to 2 hours. They make time to have a transaction with you early on their duty time or use their VL to process an important document that needed your signature or verification. Also, be harmonious when communicating with other employees, project-based or not.

    The challengesNo time for self and for other things that you want to do there is still work on weekend it must be at least half-day; care for your employees. No career improvement for project-based/site employees. Salary is basic. Provide trainings or seminars for project based employees regarding property management.

    My experience here can be compared to a brgy. Caption who's duty is to provide solutions to everyday problem around his community. The only diffrence was we are in vertical community where in lots of automated machine was involve.
