Experience was great but toxic client and problematic project site! The good thingsYou will learn a lot in project / property site that you are assigned to. You will improve your technical skills, customer/client concern management, project management up to supervisory and managerial skills when you are assigned to a project site. Average salary.
The challengesWhen you are assigned to worst client (worst property/project site). Poor building, water leaks everywhere (uncontrollable), lack of budget, unreasonable unit owners and tenants, etc. Due to budget inadequacy, you will force to release your OWN MONEY just to address a specific urgent or critical concern. Client was not very supportive in addressing the building issues especially in approving the purchase orders. No overtime pay (for too much work load and working hours), No work/life balance (6 working days per week), No regularization at project sites (Project based / Contractual job only).
