If you're new to construction and real state this company is a good training ground to be familiar with each side of the construction process. If you have considerable amount of experience you may struggle to adapt in this company unless you are hired as a manager or supervisor
The good thingsThe intensive training to master your assigned roles and the overall command view of the project from conceptualization of the plans of the project, the hiring of designers for each trade, the bidding process of each trade discipline and the onsite implementation and project turn over.
The challengesThere are some politics inside the company that sometimes hinder the advancement of some of the latest methodologies for the construction of projects.

Opportunity for career development is very limited.
The good thingsOne of the main reasons to stay is your co-workers that treat you like a family. No culture of unhealthy competition inside the company.
The challengesThe management is not really pro-employee because most departments are understaffed and employees are overworked, especially when we experience the pandemic. No career development unless someone in the higher position will leave the company, that's the only time that you'll be promoted. Minimal salary increase and the benefits are very limited.

The challengesFOUR YEARS AGO, I addressed the challenges in the property-management industry in this column. Several years on, the same challenges remain in finding competent personnel to fill the role of on-site property-management staff.

A Very Manual Driven Company who is still depending on Paper Documents and digitalization is never considered
The good thingsThe learning of basic things from a Fresh Graduate point of view
The challengesThe management is encouraging their sister companies to load the staff with task outside of Cityland while these sister companies have their own staff to do things for them.

Life changing. People here are God fearing, friendly and inspiring.
The good thingsHappy working environment with lots of fun and responsible and inspiring individuals from all the ranks.
The challengesSince I am a fresh graduate out of college, everything about my work is a challenge, being with people older than you is a challenge, making decisions and recommendations is a challenge. However with God's grace and guidance and with the help of my superiors, I lasted five years at the said company.

    An ender's review
The good thingsColleagues extend familial and close ties. There is minimal career competition as everyone will treat you as their brother and sister. If one has to work efficiently but does not perform as expected, he/she is reprimanded in a constructive way such as to boost moral ego.
The challengesWork load in reality is one:three. You will be trained to multi-task ad be able to shift your mind to a completely different aspect of your work as instantly as needed. Monday to Saturday schedule is such a gruesome task if one wants to keep family and social and work life balance.
