ChatGenie started as a Chatbot (Conversational Commerce) Platform Product in 2018, pivoted to offering customized Mini Apps (Transactional Commerce) in 2019, and eventually launched a self-service Mini App Platform for eCommerce in February 2020.Since the pandemic started, we onboarded over 1,500 merchants, facilitated over P100,000.000 worth of transactions within the platform, and generated over P5,000,000 of gross revenue. Based on our recent data, our overall conversion rate is at 20%. This means that 1 out of 5 people that go to our merchant’s Mini App eventually completes the checkout process.Currently, our merchants can launch their Sales channel on Messenger, GCash, soon on Viber and other platforms. We are excited about this journey and we believe that selling on non-conventional eCommerce platforms will be more active in the next few years.
