    The challengesWhile CGI offers many learning opportunities, certain processes can sometimes be bureaucratic, which may slow down decision-making. Additionally, balancing workload during high-demand periods can be challenging, but these experiences help develop resilience and time management skills.

    The challengesLower salary compared to other companies in the same industry Lower annual bonuses and increase The global business services work with the offices overseas and lack exposure to direct clients, hence lesser visibility and opportunities as well Re-organizations can be unnecessary and misleading

    The challengesWe hired for a back office role, suddenly we endorsed us to their voice account, they're not give us an options, but the back office role is still available. The higher management did not heard our concern.

    The challengesNone, aside from the hustle and bustle with a day to day transportation of going to work. Limited public transportation like my experience. I shouldn't leave the company if I relocated near the site location.

    The good thingsProject / assignment completion is not time bound, you can complete it in your own phase according to the schedule set in the initial stage. Member engagement programs promote high employee engagement for work-life balance. There's a lot of training are available in the learning portal. Anyone can share concern to the upper management through a small group session.
    The challengesLow salary margin compared to its competitor Companies. There are some managers who misjudge the employees document in the performance evaluation that gives a negative effect on the annual appraisal. HRBP is not able to address the employees' concern. There are some leads that demonstrate poor leadership, making the employee unmotivated.

    The challengesHire new employees with high pay but existing members/managers don't get much high increase. You need to apply for a managerial position even if you are doing great and have a high rating from the start.

    The good thingsIn terms of culture and environment, CGI is the best place to work with. Work-life balance and there’s always a window for “chill” moments. Free wifi and work from home set-up.
    The challengesLack of training opportunities, progress is a bit slow unless you are persistent to step-up. Projects are overwhelming as you will be in a shared services. Limited time to train newbies and more often than not, you’ll be in a situation where you’ll be plugged in and ready to go live with or without enough knowledge about the process for new projects/account. SALARY is not at par with the market. If you are not concern with your salary and wanted a good environment- This is the place to be. But if you’ve got needs - think again.
