The people were okay to work with, but the workload, long hrs, lack of activities, and comp.‼️❌🚫
The good thingsIn my experience, the workplace itself was okay and the environment was generally manageable.
Another thing I noticed is that the company didn’t offer employee activities such as team-building, trick-or-treat, or other engagement events. So if we wanted to bond or go on an outing, we had to organize it ourselves as coworkers.
The challengesHowever, the workload became difficult, especially when management assumed that certain tasks were easy, which often led to additional work being assigned without proper adjustment to compensation.
The office hours (7:32 AM to 6:08 PM, Monday to Friday) were already quite long, and in our department we frequently had to overtime, sometimes going home around 8:00 PM, then starting again at 7:32 AM the next day. It was exhausting and challenging to maintain work-life balance.
The salary was also not fixed, and because it seemed to follow an hourly basis, our pay would decrease whenever the month had fewer weekdays.
