I felt stagnant. The good thingsLearners are respectful - embodying the Salesian spirit, and co-workers are supportive and team players.
Great facilities
The challengesI worked here for 5 years and the following were based on my experiences and observations:
1. Stagnant (no professional growth, lack of teachers' training)
2. Full working load (especially for those HS teachers)
3. Low Salary (minimal increase in salary since 1st year to 5th year of my service)
4. Unequal opportunity for international exposure (mostly teachers who were JUST received regular position receives this)
5. PARENT/ CLIENT oriented
6. Number of Teachers (lack of teachers which resulted to teachers' health issues)
7. Human Resource management
8. Admission (should accept learners that can cater based on the specialty of teachers, refrain from accepting learners who needs special education)
9. Wellness (look more to the wellness of workers (any field), prioritize the employees FIRST)
10.ADD MORE FOR SECURITY OF TENURE (that's one of the reasons why employees are leaving, they are not secured)
Lot of private companies has these problems, but BE ONE where employees feels secured, contented, and happy. WHAT CAN YOU OFFER IN EXCHANGE OF EMPLOYEES SACRIFICES? Ang gagaling ng teachers ng CDBS! And I believe admins should keep them. I am rooting for CDBS! Always praying for the success.
