Established in 1974, Career Philippines Shipmanagement, Inc. is currently manning around 300 ships of various types: Containerships up to 18,000 TEUS, handysize-capesize Bulk Carriers, Multi-Purpose/Heavy-Lift vessels, Reefer ships, RoRo’s, Expedition Cruisers and Luxury Passenger vessels, and Chemical/ Crude Oil Tankers. With this fleet, Career was able to deploy 7,731 seafarers in 2014Career maintains 95% retention rate for both officers and ratings. Five of the ten cadets deployed in 1975, the same year the company was founded, are still engaged with us. Career was one of the very first Philippine manning agencies certified under the ISO-9001 2008 as Crew Management and Training Company for International Shipping in 1994 and remains continually ISO compliant for 20 years without a single major nonconformity. Every year Career deploys at least 100 deck, engine and electrical cadets, mostly products of its In-House Cadet Training Program and IMEC Program. The company pride itself by continually strengthening our pool of future Officers/Engineers whilst encouraging a personal bond with our loyal crew. In 2014, we deployed 130 Masters and 145 Chief Engineers to various types of ocean-going vessels.Founded upon the Core Values of Quality, Reliability and Commitment, the company, for it’s 40 years in the manning industry, is proud of its achievements of having been consistently recognized for its outstanding performance, truly one of the most awarded organizations in the field.
