As the graduation is yet to come, My Intership at Borland Development corporation is the one that I will truly cherish, Starting the day that I made the application up until the trainigs and actual practices. Throughout my internship I was part of the Recruitment Team. i have met and talked to alot of people which made me realize that this is really the career that i wanted to pursue. Working at BDC is truly amazing. From the staffs, co-employees nad even supervisors, They are all very hands-on. You will never feel that you've been left behind, From the beginning, I was met with respect and understanding. I was treated as an employee, not just an intern. If there was something I didn’t know, there was always someone to ask for help. All throughout the process my opinions and insights are all been heared of, I gained alot of knowledge and wisdom starting form the process up until the implementations. Giving me the responsibilities as a recruiter made a real impact to me. I was given an opportunity to hire, to interview and to meet the applicants and I think that this is one the best experience that an Intern must experieneced. I was given an opportunity to express myself, and to understand what it really feels like to wok inj a corporate world. My BDC experience taught me a lot about my skill set and given me confidence in my own abilities. It has helped guide my career aspirations and will definitely help me in my future career choices. My experience has brought me closer to my goals and i am very excited for what future has to bring!The good thingsWorking at BDC is the first good thing that happened, Aside from great opportunities, Working in a family-like atmosphere is one of the best asset of this company. Everyone is treated fairly even us, Interns. We already feel like we are really belong on the organization, I never felt that I was being left behind.
The challengesBeing an intern is truly challenging however, by the help of our superiors, things will become easier as we have expected. Working on the recruitment department is very challenging yet exciting. Talking to a lot of people regrading their skills and capabilities, history of employment and even some personal concerns is one of the great experience. Searching for the right candidate to the position is the very challenging part for me.
