    Great learning environment
    The good thingsIntensive technical boot camps used to be conducted in-house. Lots of learning opportunities while doing the job. When you connect to SMEs, the wisdom and knowledge they share are invaluable.
    The challengesThe tools provided to get the job done could be better. I hope that knowledge transfer sessions and proper KT documents become normalized.

    Great working environment but behind its competitors.
    The good thingsBrand is well known and generally has great recall to the public. However, it lags in technological advancements and general perception is that the bank despite its 17 decade presence is not at par with most younger banks with offerings. Being very risk averse serves the bank in both ways. It allows for protection to its clients while being limited to riskier investments and opportunities for growth. This leads to disappointed clients and shifting them to competitors for more opportunities.
    The challengesWork/life balance is most often compromised with duties of employees going beyond their stated job description. With more roles constantly being added to you as they prefer having leaner teams.

    A good foundation but too traditional
    The good thingsWorkmates are friendly. There is a sense of Family Untiy in any department. If you are a freshgrad, this can be a starting experience for you. A lot of the times management will treat their staff to food for milestones reached.
    The challengesGrowth takes longer than usual, not much opportunities for promotion. It feels stagnant and learning seem repetitive. Salary is too low considering today's market. System used is also old school, they really need to update this to keep up.

    The good thingsThought basic salary are not that big, oir benefits that we received yearly are so good. People here are very friendly even the officers and top management are very approchable.

    The good thingsThe environment was conducive to hard work and learning. People are loaded with work so coaching for tasks is not always available. Staff personnel learn on there own and through time (and some errors) they become 'experts' on the processes themselves.
    The challengesI am very happy with the whole professional vibe or environment of the company it's just that this company does not value meritocracy but seniority.
