Benefits & training; access delay, manual time track, job security challenge, vendor-client conflictThe good thingsInitial salary and benefits; new job opportunities and work experiences; internal trainings (Learning Lab / Udemy); complimentary refreshments; and office setup.
The challengesAfter joining, necessary access — turnstile or office access — is often delayed. Timesheet entries and leave requests are handled manually, with no automated tools such as Clockify or Jibble. Post-promotion salary adjustments are not immediate. Management tends to prioritize client project delivery over employee well-being, despite promoting open communication. Job security largely depends on client projects and may end within 30 days of project completion. There are no internal initiatives such as classroom-based technical training, collaborative workshops, or hands-on labs to help extend employment while awaiting new assignments. Although Learning Lab and Udemy resources are available, the 30-day notice still applies after the last project ends. Conflicting decisions between client stakeholders and internal management—especially in communication-related roles—may create uncertainty and lead some employees to consider applying directly to the client to avoid vendor-client conflicts.
