    I bring a comprehensive set of skills in teaching English as Second Language to foreign students.
    The good thingsI loved how supportive my team was whenever I get technical issues and student-end problems. It was truly a fulfilling and collaborative experience where I had the opportunity to make a positive impact not only to my students' language skills but also on their lives.
    The challengesSome challenges that I had encountered were language barriers, student's motivation, diverse student needs, cultural sensitivity and assessment language development. These challenges are inevitable especially when we are teaching foreign students. However, these obstacles were surmounted with perseverance, flexibility, and a passion for teaching. To add, meetings and team huddles had been a great help to brainstorm what techniques and methods can be used to hurdle these challenges.

    The challengesPolicy changes in China have massively impacted the online ESL industry, don't know if this company will offer the same benefits again.

    Overall, its a good place to start for those without experience.
    The good thingsEverything is provided by the company. You just need to study the materials. The selection process is not too strict and newbies could apply.
    The challenges1. Sudden booking of class gives you no time to prepare especially if the lesson needs a bit of familiarization. The penalty could be expensive especially if the reason is your internet connection as long as the student marked it as your fault regardless of talking to them.

    There are some good things, but the pay was really low and the system was chaotic.

    The challengesThe pay was too low. Also, the management of the company is not good. They did not value their tutors as much as they should.

    Good company to gain online ESL teaching experience
    The good thingsFlexible schedule, lessons are easy to teach, most students are alright. Out of the 3 TMs I got, 2 were very understanding and kind.
    The challengesVery limited scheduling, low rates even for experienced teachers, so many different penalties, not worth it in the long run.

    Too many penalties to be imposed if situation is beyond your control (internet shortage, system glitch & student/parent dissatisfaction).
    The good thingsWFH, good work systems and some students/parents are very nice. A lot of opportunities to earn more.
    The challengesImposing penalties, read the contract carefully. You will end up working to recover your penalties.

    The good thingsthe company provides technical assistance through tutor support or TM. The salary is real time and most of the kids are enthusiastic in learning.
    The challengesThe platform and materials needs more development. As some of the time there are mismatch of materials in the platform. The efficiency of teaching using the platform will also be maximize if these will be more interactive, multifunctional and facilitates easy use.
