Warehouse Team Lead (multinational company)
Purpose of the job:
Lead, coordinate and organize all warehouse related activities in dedicated area of responsibility within established procedures and practices to ensure that volumes, performance and productivity departmental targets are met while maintaining quality, safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct subordinates and ensure that all relevant procedures, instructions and good warehousing practices are applied in daily work to ensure that daily schedules, product quality and other performance objectives are met.
Lead, organize and control the work of team employees, motivate and coach them to ensure objectives achievement, good working relations and employee development. Timely inform his / her superior, colleagues about the events during the shift, discuss related problems and agree on action plans thus contribute to uninterrupted operation at required performance level
In dedicated areas, ensure proper allocation of generated costs, propose and implement the corrective actions in case of budget expenditures deviations. Continuously work on cost optimization.
Ensure that all relevant EHS procedures and rules are followed by his/her subordinates. Motivate them by his/her example. Continuously strive for risk-free and healthy working environment within the own area of responsibility, seeking to ensure compliance to legal, EHS policies and procedures, avoid accidents, occupational illnesses and losses. Monitor adherence and promote employees' commitment to EHS rules, policies and procedures and encourage Safe behavior. Continuously evaluate and foster positive EHS attitude of subordinates.
Support certification in ISO, OHSAS and other related audit activities.
Ensure adherence to FEFO / FIFO implementation.
Qualifications:
With Bachelor’s degree
At least 2 years of experience in Warehouse Operations in multinational companies or FMCG; plus if with background in logistics or supply chain
Must have experience with SAP
Must be analytical, can perform troubleshooting/ problem solving
Can do presentation/ reporting
Must have experience in managing people
Average communication skills
Work Location: Marikina plant, full onsite
Work schedule: must be willing to work on flexible schedule depending on business need (3 possible shifts - 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 2am)
