Treasury Accountant
Core Payment & Settlement Operations
Global Transactions: Execute corporate collection, payment processing, and clearing activities.
Payment Methods: Prepare transaction batches via checks, electronic funds, Host-to-Host (H2H), and offline bank transfers.
Issue Resolution: Actively monitor payment statuses, troubleshoot failed transactions, and provide immediate feedback to users.
Account Management & Reconciliations
Vendor & Corporate Relations: Respond to internal and external business inquiries regarding balances, statements, and invoice schedules.
Financial Controls: Perform vendor account reconciliations, manage corporate account services, and assist with month-end closing activities.
Compliance: Ensure all payment transactions adhere strictly to internal company policies and data integrity standards.
System Optimization & Reporting
Data Analysis: Conduct daily statistical reporting on account data to maintain seamless workflow progress.
Process Improvement: Monitor settlement systems, participate in software testing, and propose updates to maximize transactional efficiency and security.
Core Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business (Master's preferred).
Experience: 3 to 5+ years in financial payment, corporate settlement, or fund management.
Environment: Night shift availability (US hours) with a preference for BPO or shared services experience.
Technical Skills
Software: Advanced MS Office (especially Excel) and exposure to ERP systems like SAP.
Finance: Solid understanding of accounting principles, accounts payable (AP) processes, and data analysis.
Soft Skills
Strong communication, task management, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
