The Sr Manager, SCM Operations leads cross-functional supply chain activities to ensure reliable, cost-effective product flow. This role oversees planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory optimization, aligning operations with business targets. The leader drives process standardization, system utilization, and data-driven decisions to improve service, cash, and cost. Partnering with finance, sales, and manufacturing, the role balances demand and capacity, mitigating risk and elevating supplier and carrier performance. The position mentors a high-performing team, implements KPIs, and delivers continuous improvement, while ensuring compliance, safety, and strong stakeholder communication across the supply chain network.

Essential Job Skills/Duties
• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction on operational activities ensuring alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements and delivery commitments are met within prescribed timelines.
• Drive operational excellence across delivery management, process optimization, people development, cost control, budgeting, environmental stewardship, and workplace safety.
• Maximize manufacturing capability and capacity to support continuous growth in product demand.
• Serves as the primary driver of delivery performance, process optimization, and operational excellence.
• Leads and implements continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, efficiency, and cost competitiveness.
• Drive the manufacturing excellence program to ensure the attainment of key performance indicators (KPIs) across cost, quality, delivery, and safety, while maintaining high employee morale.
• Foster a culture of communication, engagement, and accountability by ensuring employees remain well-informed, actively involved, and aligned with project execution and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop, coach, and mentor team members to strengthen their technical and leadership competencies while embodying company values and delivering high-performance results.
• Own S&OP integration across planning, sourcing, and logistics.
• Optimize inventory, service, and working capital performance.
• Lead supplier and 3PL performance and contract governance.
• Drive process standardization and automation initiatives.
• Establish KPIs and cadence for operational excellence.
• Mitigate supply risks and execute contingency plans.

Required Technical Skills
• Advanced ERP and MRP planning proficiency.
• Demand and supply planning best practices.
• Data analysis using Excel and BI tools.
• Transportation and distribution network knowledge.
• Supplier management and sourcing acumen.
• Cost modeling and scenario analysis skills.

Required Soft/Leadership Skills
• Influences cross-functional stakeholders effectively.

Required Education & Experience
• Bachelor's in supply chain, business, or related field.
• 10 years supply chain operations experience.
• 5 years managing teams or managers.
• Proven results improving service and cost.

Preferred Education & Experience
• Master's degree in business or supply chain.
• Experience with multi-site, global operations.
• Lean Six Sigma project leadership experience.

Required Licenses/Certifications
• None required.

Preferred Licenses/Certifications
• APICS CPIM or CSCP.
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.

Supervisory Responsibilities
• Leads managers and professional staff.
• Responsible for hiring, coaching, and performance.

Travel Requirements
• Travels: Supplier, plant, and distribution sites.
• % of Time: Up to 25%.
• Overnight Travel: As business needs require.
