Accounting Operations Associate(Iloilo | Makati)

We have partnered with an Australian-based company that specializes in designing, installing, and maintaining long-term electrical, security, and communications solutions.

As an Accounting Operations Associate, you will report directly to the General Manager and play an essential role in supporting the general administration of the business. You will help ensure operational, management, and key business functions run effectively and efficiently through finance, administration, reporting, and customer support activities.

What you'll be working on:

  • Prepare weekly cashflow forecasts and support financial reporting requirements while maintaining high ethical standards and financial management procedures

  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including customer invoicing, bank and credit card reconciliations, monitoring outstanding payments, discrepancies, retentions, and bank arrangements

  • Upload, code, approve, and maintain bills in Xero, Tradify, and the Job Management System

  • Respond to accounts-related enquiries from the General Manager, Project Managers, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders

  • Answer inbound calls and communicate professionally through phone, email, letters, and other correspondence

  • Book and schedule job requests, coordinate suitable technicians, and set up new client information within the Job Management System

  • Ensure invoices, bills, purchase orders, job information, and timesheets are accurate and up to date to support timely invoicing and reporting

  • Complete weekly job reporting and maintain business registers including leave records, vehicle registrations, insurances, plant and equipment, and asset registers

  • Process supplier invoices, compile documentation for approval, perform data entry, and support administrative requirements across the business

  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by the Manager and provide support across all business functions


What we're looking for:

  • At least 2–3 years of relevant experience with a proactive mindset and willingness to learn and grow

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong account management skills

  • Experience handling Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bookkeeping functions

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable engaging and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
