Delta Kappa Commerce Corporation is seeking a Senior Business Development Specialist to join our dynamic sales team in Makati City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to drive new business growth and expand our market presence. As a Senior Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in identifying, cultivating, and closing high-value business opportunities that fuel the company's expansion and success. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and build lasting client relationships that position Delta Kappa Commerce Corporation as a market leader.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and target new business opportunities and potential clients within designated markets and sectors

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and business partners

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic planning and identify emerging opportunities

  • Prepare and deliver compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches to prospective clients

  • Negotiate and close contracts to secure new business agreements and partnerships

  • Monitor industry trends and market developments to anticipate client needs and market shifts

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless implementation of new business initiatives and client onboarding

  • Track, analyse and report on business development metrics, pipeline status, and sales performance

  • Mentor and support junior team members, sharing best practices and knowledge

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in business development, new business sales, or account management within a fast-paced commercial environment

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities

  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and ability to apply consultative selling approaches

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Strategic thinking and analytical mindset with the ability to assess market opportunities and develop actionable plans

  • Self-motivated with strong initiative, resilience, and ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively within a team

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools; experience with Salesforce is advantageous

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline

  • Excellent knowledge of the Philippine business landscape and market dynamics is highly desirable

  • Fluency in English; Filipino language proficiency is advantageous
