Operations Executive - Airfreight

About the role:
As part of Geodis Integrated Solutions, the GEODIS Airfreight Operations and Warehouse offers efficient and timely airfreight import, export and warehousing transportation services, selecting the most suitable carriers and flight schedules for safe and fast delivery.

Responsibility:

• Complete A-Z process for Air Import or Air Export

• Ensure a timely and accurate airwaybill cutting

• Ensure all shipments are build-up or tender to carrier on-time

• Communication on all requirements with internal/external customers and suppliers

• Trouble shooting of all shipment issue

• Monitoring subcontractor performance, if any, to ensure compliance to GEODIS Standard Operating Process

• Identify areas of improvement through daily operations

• Submit at least 1 cost saving initiative plan once every quarter

• Monitor and control material supplies to subcontractor (Shrink wraps, security tapes, foams etc)

• Work closely with vendor management transport team to meet customer service requirement and expectation

• Keeping track and updates of export Shipment issue log

• Monthly KPI reporting for export subcontractor performance via dashboard

• Prepare 8D/CAR reports.

• Perform other functions, as required, from time to time

Requirement:

• 4-year university degree or equivalent certification in logistics-related field

• Minimum of 3 years experience in air operations in the airfreight industry.

• Good airfreight and air cargo knowledge.
