Project/Civil Engineers (Iloilo City)
To inspect and analyze the plans and specifications of proposed construction projects;
If assigned in field work, to supervise activities at job sites, including the work of foremen;
To monitor and make requests on equipment, tools, and materials needed at the project site;
To calculate and manage cost related aspects in construction projects and also to negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to reduce overall cost of a project in order to ensure the best value for money.
To measure land features, such as depth and shape, based on reference points.
To quantify and encode the accomplishment and scope of work of laborers and subcontractors;
To analyze various factors concerning project construction;
To coordinate with relevant internal departments for wide ranging concerns;
To ensure that all rules, regulations and guidelines are explicitly followed at the project sites;
To prepare all the necessary documentation and ensure that they are kept intact and updated;
To review and recommend work process improvements as necessary;
To promote a positive work environment that contributes to increasing efficiency and productivity in the department;
To perform other duties as assigned.
