E-commerce Marketing Operations Specialist

Posted 2d ago

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Digital Ordering and Payments Specialist supports the execution and day-to-day management of the brand’s owned digital ordering platform (MB Go) and the GCash payment and engagement channel. Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, this role handles content updates, promotional execution, user communication, and in-store adoption coordination. Strategy, campaign planning, and platform roadmap decisions sit with the Manager; the Specialist focuses on timely, accurate implementation.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute the MB Go promotional calendar as directed: set up in-app banners, push notifications, promo codes, and featured product placements

  • Maintain MB Go platform content — menu items, pricing, store listings, operating hours, and visual assets — ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines

  • Support GCash campaign execution: coordinate voucher uploads, manage A+ Rewards placements, and ensure payment gateway functionality is working as expected

  • Track ongoing MB Go and GCash performance metrics (app downloads, registrations, MAU, order frequency, GCash transaction share) and compile weekly dashboards for the Manager

  • Drive crew-facing in-store adoption of MB Go and GCash: coordinate with store operations and training teams to distribute POS materials, track crew awareness, and report on frontline feedback and customer friction points

  • Guide franchisees through the PayMongo onboarding process for MB Go payment processing; coordinate with PayMongo’s account officer for onboarding support and resolution of general concerns

  • Triage user-reported bugs on MB Go: log the issue, attempt initial reproduction, and escalate to the FSD Developer point person; relay confirmed fixes or platform updates to franchisees or the franchisor team as needed

  • Execute assigned UAT test cases for new MB Go features, GCash integrations, and app updates — verifying fixes and logging any defects found during testing

  • Prepare post-campaign recaps following Manager-provided templates, summarizing actual vs. target performance, key learnings, and recommendations for future campaigns

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing, e-commerce operations, or platform coordination; experience with a direct-to-consumer app or mobile wallet integration is an advantage

  • Working familiarity with app content management systems, push notification tools, and basic analytics dashboards (Firebase, Mixpanel, or equivalent)

  • Basic understanding of mobile payment flows, third-party payment processor onboarding (PayMongo or equivalent), and common customer friction points in digital ordering

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills — able to manage content updates, promo setups, and UAT checklists across two platforms simultaneously

  • Comfortable with data: able to pull reports, build simple trackers in Excel or Google Sheets, and present findings clearly

  • Strong coordination and communication skills for working across FSD Developer teams, franchisees, franchisor teams, PayMongo account officers, store operations, customer service, and external partners like GCash

  • Ability to follow structured workflows, adhere to brand guidelines, and work under the direction and review of the Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
